The Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) offers a studies program at the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE) to obtain an official master degree: Master in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering (AMASE). In collaboration with other European universities, in the framework of the European Erasmus Mundus.
The studies, obtaining a double degree, corresponding to the two universities where the student is registered. The studies made compulsory in two of the four following universities:

* Universität des Saarlandes, UDS (Germany)
* Lulea University of Technology, LUT (Sweden)
* Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine, INPL (France)

The study program Joint European Masters Programme in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering (AMASE) of the Universities of Saarbrücken (Saarland University, Germany) Lulea (Lulea University of Technology, Sweden), Nancy (National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, France ) and Barcelona (Technical University of Catalonia, UPC, Spain) is a master with mandatory mobility.
The master of two years, involves studies in the field of materials science and engineering at two universities in the consortium. The first year must be made entirely in a university, while the third term should be made mandatory at another university consortium. The fourth semester (Master thesis) can be performed both at the university's first year or where you completed the third semester.
